CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION BID PREVIEW
WHAT: The Construction Bid Preview/Building the Vision for the FWISD Capital Improvement Program
WHEN: Thursday, September 24, 2009, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
WHERE: Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center, 5201 C.A. Robertson, Fort Worth, Mapsco 92N
SUMMARY: This meeting is the third bid preview to showcase construction procurement for the FWISD Capital Improvement Program (CIP)/Building the Vision. It is designed to assist contractors and subcontractors in understanding the Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) process and to obtain information about projects.
Event highlights include:
- Information on proposal requirements, evaluation criteria and proposal forms
- Procurement status and outcome of the previous solicitations
- Overview of the balance of Phase 2 and 3 projects
- The 12 Bid Packages remaining for Phase 2 consist of: 5 renovation Bid Packages, 3 renovation/addition Bid Packages and 4 new school Bid Packages
- Information on Phase 3 projects with a value of $65 million: 6 renovation Bid Packages and 4 renovation/addition Bid Packages
The meeting will provide an opportunity to meet the CIP leadership and visit with the AECOM project managers and architects. General contractors and subs also have the opportunity to network.
